Crafting Infused Chocolate-Covered Pretzel TreatsWhy Pretzels?
No melting, no mess. Just a crunchy, crave-able snack with the perfect dose to keep the vibe going without dragging it down. Think salty-sweet bites that everyone reaches for twice. Make extras; these will go fast!
Ingredients (makes ~40 nuggets):
- 40 mini pretzel nuggets or twists
- ½ cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 tsp infused coconut oil (see dosing notes below)
- Optional toppings:
- Crushed peanuts
- Flaky sea salt
- Chili-lime seasoning
- Toasted sesame seeds
Instructions:
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine chocolate chips and infused coconut oil.
- Microwave in 30-second bursts, stirring each time until smooth. Don’t overheat — just gently melted.
- Dip each pretzel nugget halfway into the infused chocolate. Let the excess drip off.
- Add toppings while the chocolate is still wet.
- Place each nugget on the parchment and chill in the fridge for 15–20 minutes until set.
- Store in a cool, airtight container. They’ll travel just fine to a backyard BBQ or rooftop smoke session.
Dosing Tips (Target: 3–5mg per nugget):
- If your infused coconut oil contains 200mg THC per tsp, using 1 tsp in the recipe gives you ~5mg per nugget (based on 40 pieces).
- Want a lighter dose? Use ½ tsp (for ~2.5mg per nugget) or make a double batch and still use 1 tsp.
- Stir well to distribute the oil evenly into the chocolate.
